Overview

PiggyPath helps students set a savings goal, save little by little and track their progress. It runs fully offline and keeps everything on the phone. It only records savings, and doesn’t hold money or connect to banks. PiggyPath is an academic research prototype made to support financial literacy, with no claim of proven results.

Features

  • Savings goals

Set a target with an optional date, category and cover photo, then watch your progress grow.

  • Exact records

Record, edit and delete savings, with amounts exact to the centavo.

  • History and statistics

Filter savings by goal, week, month or date range, and see totals, a weekly chart and insights.

  • Learning games

Play Needs or Wants, Budget Challenge and Savings Flight. They use fictional money and never change your real savings.

  • Fully offline

There’s no cloud login, tracking or ads, and the release build doesn’t request internet access. There’s no backup yet, so uninstalling erases your records.

  • Separate accounts

Several people can keep their own goals on one phone. This separates profiles, but it isn’t bank-level security.
